Amazing food, cheap prices, huge bowl of pho for less than 25$ nice warm environment that feels too comfortable

Came here after a long day of snowboarding. The delicious warm soup and AMAZING chilly crisps and garlic sauce hit right spot. Was too hungry to take pics before demolishing the food. Menu is not up to date. They do serve Gui Lin rice noodles 桂林米粉 and clay pot rice 煲仔飯 in case they’re not showing on the menu.

余味 886 Noodle Stop is taking over the Uniboil location in Davis. Their menu has some hotpot. But mainly with the noodle and clay pot rice dishes. We tried the crispy pork belly & braised beef shank soup rice noodles and the crispy pork belly soup rice noodles this time. They are delicious. Taste very good. But it will be perfect if they had a few more pieces of crispy pork belly. The customer service is amazing. The owner is very friendly and attentive. The dining room is comfortable. They have not changed anything since taking over the place from Uniboil. I enjoyed my lunch.

I think their little hot pot is the best in Davis. Used less than 20 bucks you’ll have a pot with very good value and big amounts of meat in it. It’s very sad that not many people know this place.

I’m glad was only visiting. This was the best crispy pork and braised beef pho I’ve ever had. Will probably eat again before I leave town.

Food was amazing! Got pho and hot pot to split with a friend and both were very tasty will be coming back again. Especially liked that they topped our pho soup midway when eating.

Fantastic food, quick and friendly service. Somewhat difficult to find, check the pictures of the door to get there easier.

They’re just re-opening — new menus haven’t even arrived yet — but the food is authentic and memorable. The clay pot rice with sausage and salt cured pork was a standout (takes 20 mins, order first/early!) and legit Guilin mifen for the spicy noodle lovers. Will be back here again!
